Saturday, May 9, 2026 – One hundred and fifteenth Commencement
A great day of celebration for the entire Mary Washington community! All are welcome to join us in this momentous occasion.
At-A-Glance
Location
The University of Mary Washington’s longstanding tradition is to hold Commencement on Ball Circle, the epicenter of campus life.
Time
- 7 a.m.: Field opens to access guest seating.
- 9 a.m.: Processional begins.
- Noon: Ceremony will conclude.
Graduating Classes
The ceremony is for those who earn their bachelor’s or master’s degree in August 2025, December 2025, and May 2026.
Tickets
Everyone is welcome and guest tickets are not required. Guest seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.
Live Stream
Live video of the 2026 Commencement Ceremony will be available on the homepage of the Commencement website on Saturday, May 9 and indoors at multiple locations in-person on campus.
Program
A program PDF will be posted to the website on Friday, May 8.
