Netscape Composer Tutorial
by Andy Rush

Introduction

Netscape Composer is a basic WYSIWYG web page editor. It allows you to create basic web pages with word-processor like ease. This tutorial will cover basic tasks such as creating new pages, making hyperlinks, adding graphics (images), and building tables.

The current version of Netscape includes Composer as part of the installation. You can download Netscape 7.01 from the Netscape web site. Starting Composer is accomplished in one of two ways. You need to have opened the Netscape Navigator browser. The first way is to access Composer through the one of Netscape's menu choices. Click on the Window Menu and select Composer from the list.

The second way to start Composer is to click the icon that is located in the lower left portion of the Navigator window.

The composer window will now open with a blank page.
