Using Multimedia

Multimedia is the integration of text, graphics, sound, and motion. A multimedia computer was once a specialized and expensive machine. Now virtually all computers these days are more than capable of presenting and manipulating all manner of digital media. The word digital is the key here. Computers can only represent these multimedia components in a digital form. Getting a handle on using these digital forms of media is what this area of the web site is all about. This section of the site presents three of the digital forms of media:
