Accreditation of the University of Mary Washington
The University of Mary Washington is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award baccalaureate and masters degrees. The University of Mary Washington also may offer credentials such as certificates and diplomas at approved degree levels. College of Business
The UMW College of Business is fully accredited by AACSB International (AACSB).
College of Education
The initial-licensure and advanced-level educator preparation programs are accredited by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP).
Chemistry
The UMW Chemistry program has been approved by the American Chemical Society (ACS) to offer certified degrees in chemistry.
Nursing
The baccalaureate degree in nursing at the University of Mary Washington is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.
