The checklist below will help you make sure you have all the materials you’ll need to apply to UMW’s BSN degree completion program.
Keep in mind the program’s suggested application filing dates of April 1 for the fall semester, Oct. 15 for the spring, and March 1 for summer. UMW accepts applications received after the recommended filing dates on a rolling, space-available basis.
To apply, you will need:
- A copy of a current, unencumbered RN license permitting you to practice nursing in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
- An official transcript from each college or university you’ve attended, including an official transcript awarding an associate or diploma degree or a diploma from an accredited school. You must have attained a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale in undergraduate study.
