Are you interested in Project Management and advancing your skills as a leader using the Dahlgren Project Management Certificate? Now you can earn your Project Management Certificate while also earning credits toward your MBA! The University of Mary Washington, in partnership with NSWCDD, will offer a unique opportunity this spring to begin your PM certificate and apply 15 credits toward completion of the UMW MBA program. The PM Certificate + 21 Credits = MBA. Eligible students will receive:

  • The quality program, AACSB accredited.
  • GRE/GMAT waiver for progressive work experience.
  • Courses for the PM certificate and the MBA delivered at the UMW Dahlgren Campus.
  • Class times designed to support your work/life balance (3-5:30 p.m.).

Project Management Certificate

Expedited Application for Admission – 15 credits

  • GRE/GMAT waiver approved for an accredited bachelor’s degree and a minimum of five years of progressive experience.

Dahlgren Campus Location

  • Completion of five courses over a 12-month period.
  • Potential Credit toward Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Program Management certifications, as well as other Acquisition Professional career fields, as applicable.

Master of Business Administration

Expedited Application for Admission – 21 credits

  • GRE/GMAT waiver approved for an accredited bachelor’s degree and a minimum of five years of progressive experience.
  • GBUS 501 and 502 work experience waiver.
  • PM Certificate courses applied toward MBA degree (15 credit hours).

Dahlgren Campus Location

  • Completion of seven courses over a 16-month period.
  • Potential Credit toward Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Program Management certifications, as applicable.
