Accelerated Master of Education for Instructional Improvement (M.Ed.)
New Leadership & TESL Cognates for 2025-2026
The Accelerated Master of Education for Instructional Improvement offers licensed teachers the opportunity to develop research skills, enhance their practice, and explore an area of professional interest through course selections within a cognate.
Students completing this program will develop and conduct a culminating research project. This pathway will be offered in a cohort format and is designed for professional development and does not lead directly to state endorsement or licensure.
The Details
WHEN: Starts summer 2025
WHERE: Hybrid program. Courses will be delivered Monday & Thursday nights or in an online format. On-campus courses will be at the Fredericksburg Campus and will include some online content.
Admission requirements:
- Possess a professional teaching license
- Meet the GPA expectations for graduate admission
- Adhere to cohort schedule for the accelerated program
