The following message is from the James Farmer Multicultural Center.
To the campus community:
Due to a forecast of rain, wind, and unseasonable temperatures, Saturday’s Multicultural Fair will move indoors. While food vendors will still be located on Ball Circle, craft and other vendors will move into the first and second floors of the University Center.
The performances will take place as follows:
The Children’s Area will be in the Talon Lounge on the 3rd floor of the University Center. The other performance areas will be located in Monroe Hall 116, the Lee Hall Underground, and Dodd Auditorium in George Washington Hall.
If you are scheduled to work at the event and have questions, please contact Greta Franklin (gfrankli@umw.edu) or Marion Sanford (msanford@umw.edu). For all others in the campus community, we hope you will plan to attend the University’s 26th Annual Multicultural Fair, which is from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and that you will encourage others to attend. Rain or shine, this event remains one of the best ways to celebrate diverse cultures and traditions.
Thank you for your support of what has become a Fredericksburg tradition.
