All Campuses Closed Through Sunday; Dining Hall, Fitness Center Limited Schedule

All campuses remain closed through Sunday, Jan. 24. Additional closures will be announced by 6 a.m., Monday, Jan. 25. A snow emergency remains in effect on the Fredericksburg campus until further notice.

Please note the following openings and cancellations below:

The University Center Dining Hall opens today at 11 a.m. for brunch. Service hours today will be:

Brunch 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Dinner 4 p.m. – 6 p.m.

The Fitness Center opens today from noon to 4 p.m.

Please use caution when moving around the campus. Not all walkways will be cleared by 11 a.m. and it is possible that there will be only one walkway available from each residence hall to the University Center. Please select a safe pathway that is clear of ice.

The University Center and Fitness Center are the only buildings opening at this time. Snow clearing will continue throughout the day and other buildings will be evaluated for opening as the day progresses. Please watch email, the UMW webpage and social media for updates.

Cancellation:

 The Jefferson lecture scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 26 has been canceled.
