All Campuses Closed on Tuesday, Jan. 26; Updates and Cancellations

All campuses at UMW will be closed on Tuesday, Jan. 26, including the Fredericksburg, Stafford and Dahlgren campuses. Day and evening classes and events will be canceled. Administrative and staff offices will be closed. The declaration of a snow emergency remains in effect until further notice; snow emergency parking regulations also remain in effect.

The Executive Committee of the University of Mary Washington Board of Visitors will meet as scheduled at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2016, in the Minor Board Room at the Jepson Alumni Executive Center, 1119 Hanover Street, Fredericksburg, Virginia.

Cancellation: The Jefferson lecture scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 26 has been canceled.

Please note the following schedules on the Fredericksburg campus:

• University Center will operate on  a normal schedule on Tuesday, from 7 a.m. to 11:30 p.m., with only the Ball Circle side for access. Doors will be locked on the College Avenue side.
• The Hurley Convergence Center will operate on its normal 24-hour schedule.
• The Fitness Center will be open from 10 a.m.  to 4 p.m.
• Simpson Library will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
