With the likelihood of surfaces freezing overnight, only essential employees should report to any of the three University of Mary Washington campuses until at least 10 a.m. tomorrow, Friday, February 19. All online classes and other remote academic activity will continue as usual, and those who have the ability to telework should continue to do so.
An assessment of conditions will be made at 7:30 a.m. tomorrow. Until 10 a.m., there will be no on-campus classes and/or labs. An email announcement will confirm whether that status will continue throughout the day.
The Board of Visitors meeting scheduled virtually for tomorrow will take place as planned. And the Fredericksburg Snow Emergency parking regulations will remain in effect until campus reopens. Please note that the Dahlgren and Stafford campuses are under a separate snow/ice management plan.
