Dr. Johnson-Young's research includes publications and presentations in health communication and media, with a particular focus on family health communication. This includes research in maternal health decisions and experiences, as well as pediatric communication on various topics. She teaches courses including research methods, health communication, not-for-profit campaigns, and the senior seminar in digital rhetoric.
