Gregg Stull, Chair of the Department of Theatre and Dance, Producing Director of UMW Theatre, and Professor of Theatre, earned an M.A. (1986) in theatre from the University of Maryland after receiving a B.A. (1982) in dramatic arts from Mary Washington College.
Stull has served as the managing director of the Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company in Washington, D.C., as a panelist for the Ohio Arts Council, an evaluator for the National Endowment for the Arts, and on the arts and humanities transition team prior to the inauguration of Bill Clinton. An expert on social justice and the arts, Stull was the executive director of The NAMES Project and directed two international displays of the entire AIDS Memorial Quilt on the National Mall.
