Banking
There is an ATM in the University Center operated by Truist. There’s no transaction fee for Truist accounts; the fee is $2 for accounts through other banks.
There are a number of financial institutions in the vicinity of campus to meet student banking needs.
Bookstore
The University Bookstore is owned and operated by UMW and offers an extensive inventory of everything an Eagle may need for the coming year. The bookstore has competitively priced used and new textbooks for rent or for purchase, e-books, and course packs. Use the price comparison tool on the store’s site for optimal savings. For additional savings, students can participate in the textbook buyback at the end of each semester.
Wear and share your Eagle pride! The store boasts a wide selection of UMW clothing, gifts, and insignia items.
Copy Center
For a nominal fee, you may take care of all your personal copying and printing needs and send or receive faxes at the UMW Copy Center, located in Lee Hall, Room 211. Options include transparencies, laminations, specialty paper, personalized stationery, binding, labeling, shredding, inserting, collating, scanning, and digital photo processing.
Financial Aid
Visit the Office of Financial Aid website for answers to frequently asked questions and details about your financial aid options. The Financial Aid office is located in Lee Hall (second floor) and is open Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Please feel free to visit our office if you have questions regarding your financial aid award letter, types of available financial aid, etc. One of our representatives will be happy to chat!
