Campus Walk popped with color as vendors lined up from George Washington Hall all the way to Monroe to sell a rainbow of wares, including scarves, jewelry, clothing and bath products. Fairgoers flocked to Ball Circle for children’s activities and ethnic cuisine. Performance groups from UMW, the greater Fredericksburg community and beyond set up on multiple stages to present everything from flamenco to break dancing, a capella to hip hop.
The fair, sponsored by the James Farmer Multicultural Center and held every spring, is one of UMW’s most popular events, second in attendance only to next month’s undergraduate commencement.
