0: Number of times weather has forced undergraduate commencement indoors.
8,700: Approximate number of miles from the Philippines to Virginia – the greatest distance traveled by a commencement guest. (We think.) Another guest traveled more then 7,000 miles – from Uganda – to watch his daughter graduate.

1,161: Number of students earning a degree from UMW this weekend.

1: Number of graduates who received both the MBA and MSMIS in a dual-degree program.
