The University of Mary Washington will offer FAFSA Completion Labs on Saturday, Feb. 8, and Monday, Feb. 17 to help high school seniors and their families complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. Each in-person session will be held in the Hurley Convergence Center computer lab, with financial aid officers and admissions counselors available to answer questions.
The opportunity is open to any student whether or not they’ve applied to UMW. Advance registration is recommended.

“FAFSA can be daunting the first time you file it, but we’re here to help students and families complete the process so they can access vital federal and state assistance if needed,” said UMW Dean of Admissions & Associate Vice President Melissa Yakabouski.
Students and families attending the Monday, Feb. 17 FAFSA Completion Lab are also invited to visit the Fredericksburg campus for the day at the UMW Open House. Scheduled for Presidents’ Day, the Open House offers an opportunity for high school seniors to experience student life, speak to academic program representatives, and take a campus tour.
