Pedro Echevarria, producer for the Cable Satellite Public Affairs Network (C-SPAN), will serve as the moderator for the Fredericksburg Forum on Tuesday, March 24. The program, which will feature journalist Sam Donaldson, will be held at 8 p.m. in George Washington Hall, Dodd Auditorium. Tickets are required.
Echevarria, who has been at C-SPAN since 2002, hosts the daily political call-in program “Washington Journal.” He also hosts and produces “The Communicators,” a weekly program on telecommunications and technology policy. After beginning his journalism career as a Fredericksburg radio reporter, Echevarria worked at several radio and television stations throughout Virginia. He holds a bachelor’s degree in speech communications from Tennessee Temple University.
Sam Donaldson, who currently appears on “ABC News Now,” has served as chief White House correspondent for ABC News and has reported on numerous presidential campaigns. Donaldson will speak about the first 100 days of President Barack Obama’s administration.
