The University of Mary Washington has been named to The Princeton Review’s 2012 edition of “The Best 376 Colleges.” The Princeton Review is a New York City-based education services company that annually publishes guidebooks ranking colleges, business and law schools.

“Students laud ‘the small student body and class sizes,’” and “believe UMW is ‘a hidden jewel that delivers on a historical campus,’” the guide states. “UMW is ‘a small school with a big heart’ and ‘is a tight-knit community with an atmosphere that pushes you to your potential.’”
The University of Mary Washington has received national recognition through consistently high rankings in selective publications and many college guidebooks, including most recently the 2012 Fiske Guide to Colleges.
