The famed Irish Tenors will join the University of Mary Washington Philharmonic for its annual Holiday Pops Concert on Friday, Dec. 8. The performance, titled “We Three Kings,” will be held at 7:30 p.m. in Dodd Auditorium, located in George Washington Hall on the Fredericksburg campus.
The concert has been a cherished Fredericksburg tradition for almost 50 years. The Irish Tenors – Finbar Wright, Anthony Kearns and Ronan Tynan – will perform songs from their best-selling Christmas album. The trio has been together since 1998 and has sold out shows in Radio City Music Hall, Carnegie Hall, Sydney Opera House and major concert halls throughout the world.
“We are so fortunate to have been able to schedule the tenors during their Christmas tour,” said Kevin Bartram, director of the Philharmonic. “This will be such a beautiful show.”
