Virginia Hall

Built in 1915 and renovated in 2021, Virginia Hall is named for the Commonwealth. Virginia is home to approximately 165 students and features hall style bathrooms with floor-to-ceiling shower and toilet partitions. The first floor once contained the President’s office and the second floor initially served as the campus infirmary. Located in the very heart of campus, Virginia has excellent views of the campus from all four sides.

There is a large, well-equipped kitchen and social lounge on the ground level and kitchenettes on the upper floors.  Both the vending machines and the laundry rooms are located in the basement. In addition, Virginia features a spacious  parlor. Parlor amenities include a big screen TV, wall to wall carpeting, and lots of comfy couches and armchairs! Virginia is steps away from Ball Circle and the Cedric Rucker University Center, the hub of student life at Mary Wash.
